Hosting a Workshop
A Plan for Joy in the Home

If you are interested in hosting a workshop, here is the information you need to know:

  • I will be happy to travel to your site to host my workshop for you and at least 5 of your friends. The farther away you are from me, however, the more people you should plan on having attend so as to spread the traveling expenses around.
  • The workshop is set up to last about 5 hours. It is helpful to begin around 9:00 - 9:30 so that it doesn't go too long into the day. A lunch break/sharing time is included in this time.
  • The attendee fee is $40 per person. This fee includes the workshop and a copy of my book.
  • If I am within driving distance of the workshop site, the first 100 miles (out of the total round-trip distance) are part of the fees. After that, I will require .50 per mile. This can be collected by adding an additional amount to the attendee fee.
  • If you are too far away for me to drive but would like to have me host a workshop, then all travel expenses will be paid by the hostess. These, too, can be collected by adding an additional amount to the attendee fee. In this instance, it would be best if there were more than 15 people attending the workshop so as to spread out the cost.
  • The hostess is responsible for finding the workshop site and promoting the event. I can help you with promotional ideas.
  • I would be more than happy to work with you on setting up a workshop. Please contact me so that we can get started working on yours today!

We can be joyful, homeschooling moms. It's easier, though, if you are organized!
