Sometimes adding something as simple as a new spelling software program can bring new life into an old topic. Let's face it, spelling lists week after week, year after year sure can get tedious.

I came across this great spelling software from SpellQuizzer that I think you'll like. We've been using it for awhile now and my two kids love it. They really do study their spelling words more often. To top it off, they really are doing better, too.

The program keeps track of all the words they spell wrong and asks them if they would like to try them again at the end.

I like the fact that you can randomly go back and retest them on word lists they might have had a month ago. It's interesting to see just how many words they actually remember how to spell!

Overall, I really think this is a product worth investing in. You can use it with as many kids as you need to and you can create lists for the whole school year, thus making it a resource that you can keep using year after year.
