Issue #38 - Plan Your Year, Organize Your Life
I'm so excited to announce that I've partnered up with Pam Barnhill again to bring you another great planning tool called
"Plan Your Year: Homeschool Planning for Purpose and Peace"
I downloaded this treasure last week and am again amazed at how many resources there are packed into this program. There are forms for goal setting and vision planning as well as daily and weekly planning sheets, calendars, book list forms, block and loop schedule sheets. You name it, it there.
If you purchase "Plan Your Year", you also get two audio workshops, lifetime updates and a Facebook group.
Again, I wouldn't team up with Pam if I didn't think that this would be a helpful tool. It goes along so nicely with my book,
A Plan for Joy,
that I hope you'll check out both of them.
"Plan Your Year"
helps you to look at your school year through both a long-term lens and a short-term lens. I wish that I had had a formal vision from the beginning of what I wanted my kids to have learned by the time they graduated high school. I suppose that I had a sketch in my mind, but to see it in a formal statement would have been neat to look at when they graduated.
Not only that, but "Plan Your Year" helps you to understand and implement block scheduling and loop scheduling. I have used block scheduling before, but loop is a new one to me so I was excited to see how it could be put into action.
It isn't too late to get started on planning your year and organizing your life. Even if you've purchased your books for this coming school year, you can still do some planning to help things run smoothly.
I hope that you find some benefit in both of the books I've presented here. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
